Home Care
Emmanuel Community has partnered with Perham Memorial Home Care to deliver quality home healthcare services to you in your own home. Care is provided to people of all ages and is a personal and economical alternative to lengthy hospital or nursing home care.
Skilled Nursing Services are provided by a registered nurse. The nurse provides individualized skilled care as determined by your healthcare team.
These services may include:
- Assessments
- Wound care
- IV therapy
- Lab work
- Education
- Disease Management
Home Health Aides provides assistance with these services:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Foot care
- Hygiene
- Walking
- Light meal preparation
- Housekeeping tasks
- Other personal cares as needed
Other Home Health Services are available and may include:
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy
- Medical Social Services
Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days per week to persons living within a 10 mile radius of Detroit Lakes. The cost of home care varies depending on services provided. Private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, VA and Worker’s Compensation may cover the cost of home care. Your health plan will be contacted in advance to verify coverage.
